The latest change in the new Sunder Charms now works on traps too! This makes The Crack of the Heavens sunder charm break lightning immunities and lower monster resistance to 95% above anything else. The Lightning Dragonsin excels at bringing extremely strong DPS (Damage per second) through two different sources. In Patch 2.5 the introduction of Terror Zones will bring changes to certain specs and gameplay strategies. Note: The Lightning Dragonsin is a hybrid build that is created to provide massive AoE and Boss damage at the same time. Stacking +fire damage on our character adds even more damage, as it will be explained below.
This is one of the reasons why Tiger Strike's massive damage increase is synergizing so well with Dragon Tail. As you will see in our recommended gear section below, we do offer certain items which can proc Amplify Damage, which adds further value on top of breaking physical immunities and lower enemy physical resistance. The new physical sunder charm The Bone Break allows us to break enemy physical immunity, which massively helps improving Dragon Tail damage. In other words, the enemy physical resistance plays a big role in determining the fire explosive damage of Dragon Tail. However, the fire explosion damage, which is one of the strongest points of this build, is calculated based on your outgoing physical damage. The ability base damage is determined by boots, and the range as well as speed are determined by your weapon, which is unsurprising. It must be highlighted that Dragon Tail damage calculation works in very mysterious ways. The build essentially focuses on getting fast enemy kills due to the overwheling damage from Lightning Sentry and Dragon Tail, and then destroy the remainder of the enemies through Death Sentry traps.
The build has great versatility which allows it to do exceptionally well in mass area farms. The Lightning Dragonsin can also have various source of physical damage mainly available from Tiger Strike and the Mercenary. The primary strength of this build is the ability to bring incredibly high damage in two different sources: 1)Lightning and 2)Fire. The Lightning Dragonsin Assassin build is a hybrid build which utilizes Lightning Sentry, Tiger Strike, Dragon Tail and Death Sentry to bring devastating damage and quickly lay waste to her enemies, including Terror Zones in Diablo 2: Resurrected.
