One of our favorite things about the school is that it reinforces the values and morals we teach at home. We have never felt our girls we prohibited from learning because of the class size. There are no continued behavioral interruptions during class time. The class sizes may be a bit larger then public schools but every student in the class is there to learn. The teachers and staff at the school know who the children are this provides the children with a sense of security, safety, and comfort. Because it is a smaller school then public there is a sense of community throughout. We have always been able to contact the teachers or staff if we had a question or an issue. We love seeing their passion for knowledge embraced and nurtured by the teachers. They are excited to come home and tell us some interesting fact they learned that day. The girls enjoy going to school and learning. We believe we are giving our children the best education available in our area and look at the school as an investment in their future. Niche User: We have 2 girls in SJRS and love it. We can’t say enough good things about St Mary’s!. It’s also right around the corner from the Police Station which is great! The education rooted in faith has really help molded my kids into kind, loving tweens and not just my own children but the support I see from their peers is remarkable. St Mary’s really takes safety seriously and has adapted many security protocols so I feel very safe with my kids there. The administration are all really very nice, approachable and they have become true friends over the years. The sports programs are well organized and SMS offers a lot of extracurricular activities. We love the way they incorporate technology into the classroom. The teachers have all been great and I have can get in touch with them anytime I had any questions or concerns. The sense of community is very strong at SMS.
I have two kids that attend St Mary’s school and we just love it. Parent: We have been part of the St Mary’s family for over ten years.
